I spent more than six years of my full-time career as a writer on the communications team for the Arizona State University Foundation. I wrote fundraising collateral and communications, donor relations pieces, case statements and proposals, and many other types of development content. In the years since, I’ve brought that experience to my freelance clients. Writing geared toward fundraising for nonprofits is one of my specialties.

So now we’re asking for more. It’s time for a facility that matches the excellence of our work.”

Impact statement for asu foundation endowment report

“At the age of 24, Osher Re-entry Scholarship recipient Jane Doe was a single mother attending college when a devastating car crash killed her 17-month-old son and left her with a severe traumatic brain injury. She survived a coma, paralysis of the right side of her body and short-term memory loss. After many years of therapies, Jane is excited to return to college as a psychology major.”
